Position Overview

Job title: Facilities Team Member

Pay: £13.90 per hour 

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 7am – 3pm, 9am – 5pm on rotation

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks across student accommodation buildings and communal areas. 

  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and decorating repairs within competency levels. 

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff. 

  • Diagnose faults and determine appropriate corrective actions. 

  • Replace fixtures, fittings, locks, light bulbs, and other building components as required.
