Occupational Summary
Financial Aid/VA work-studies will work in Craven First Stop and will be involved in answering phones, providing helpful information to students, and assisting current and prospective students as needed. This position aids Admissions Specialists, Advisors, and Financial Aid Officers in creating a comprehensive system of student support within Student Services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Answers college phone lines and transfer callsAssists Students/Parents with completing FAFSAHelps filing and VA processesChecks students in to First StopAssists students with the enrollment process, including but not limited to: completing residency determination and the CFNC application, obtaining high school transcripts, and answering general financial aid questionsHelps students log in to their Craven accountsSchedules Financial Aid and Veteran Affairs appointments<...
