FIBRE TECHNICIAN / TEAM LEADER

Salary: R120,000 – R180,000 per year (depending on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Fibre Technician / Team Leader with strong technical and civil engineering experience.
The role involves fibre installations, splicing, civil works, and team management on residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, splicing, and testing of fibre networks (SDU, MDU, FTTB(S))
Fault finding, network repairs, and as-built documentation
Trenching and surface reinstatement (tar, paving, concrete)
Installation of PVC conduits, manholes, handholes, and ducting
Management of civil works teams and fibre splicing technicians
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Client communication, site updates, and daily reporting
