Become a Field Technician with Pathfinder Ltd., engaging in outdoor projects as an Agrologist, Archaeologist, or Biologist. Some office duties will be required in this role.
This position is primarily field-based, encompassing tasks such as vegetation inventories, species-at-risk assessments, and GPS traversing. Candidates should possess strong teamwork and communication skills while being capable of working independently. Physical fitness is a must for this outdoor-oriented work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute assessments for vegetation and species at risk
• Conduct shirplic surveys and riparian evaluations
• Use GPS for effective field navigation
• Complete various other field-related duties
• Uphold organizational and safety standards
Requirements:
• BC Accredited Silviculture Surveyor certification preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a related field
