What To Expect

As a Commercial Field Service Apprentice Electrician with the Tesla Energy Commercial Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to work under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Electrician on the maintenance of commercial PV, energy storage, and supercharging stations. Skills in all areas of electrical are not necessarily required, but the job can and will involve a variety of electrical disciplines and a strong candidate will be able to perform a variety of electrical tasks from distribution/production power, lighting, and low voltage. Working as a team with the entire Energy department, the Apprentice Electrician assists with the operations and maintenance of power distribution, transformers, lighting, and electrical equipment 480 VAC up to 1000VDC, Inverters, Batteries, DC strings under the guidance of a Licensed Electrician.
