Job Purpose

The Finance Manager will manage the full finance and accounting function for a UAE-based trading business with strong exposure to chemicals, industrial materials, FMCG, or import/export trading. The role requires a hands‑on professional with strong IFRS knowledge, UAE tax expertise, and the ability to control cash flow, inventory costing, audits, and ERP processes. The position also requires strong review capability, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, and control across all financial data.

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• IFRS‑compliant preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Month‑end and year‑end closing including GL review, reconciliations, provisions, and accruals.
• Management reporting including MIS, dashboards, and consolidated reports.
• Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and audit trails.
• Review and validate accounting data rather than only recording transactions.
