Purpose
This role is accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the financial records of Averda South Africa’s legal entities and reports to the Financial Manager, Averda South Africa. The role owns the monthly close, ensures each entity trial balance is fully reconciled and supportable, prepares and reviews reconciliations, owns fixed asset and IFRS 16 lease accounting, manages monthly tax submissions and payments, coaches the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, and acts as the primary preparer-side contact for the external auditors.
