The Financial Accountant will be responsible for carrying out the full financial function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting business decision-making through financial analysis.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS / IFRS for SMEs.
• Experience on Xero & Pastel essential.
• Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA preferred, but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

• Month End Close Process:
  • Prepare and post all month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, payroll, financing charges).
  • Ensure all transactions for the month are completely and accurately recorded.
  • Review trial balance for completeness and accuracy.
  • Process monthly payroll for clients.
  • Prepare VAT for client review.
