FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (SAIPA) - R70k pm - NORTHERN SUBURBS, CPT Our client, a Leader in the FMCG sector has an opportunity for a strong SAIPA Accountant with FMCG experience.
Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts, variance commentary, and reporting packs for the Head of Finance.
Complete month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and provisioning.
Reconcile VAT and other statutory accounts ahead of SARS submissions.
Keep the fixed asset register current and accurate.
Run monthly stock counts, investigate variances with warehouse and production teams, and produce inventory reconciliation reports.
Review sales, margin trends, trade terms and the profitability of promotional activity.
Strengthen and maintain internal controls across financial and operational processes.
