Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom Accounting, BCompt, or equivalent qualification and have completed SAICA or SAIPA articles, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in financial accounting or similar role. Strong technical accounting knowledge (including IFRS and the Companies Act), advanced Excel skills, and experience with month‑end and year‑end processes are essential. Experience with Syspro or a similar ERP system, debtor finance, and exposure to foreign exchange and multi‑currency transactions will be advantageous. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, while demonstrating strong integrity, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
