About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Intact Insurance Finance team. In this role, you will be the contact point for your assigned region/tasks under your area of expertise. This dynamic role requires a balance of technical numerical proficiency, strong relationship‑building skills, and a good knowledge of financial management. You’ll lead monthly reporting, support the month‑end and budgeting process, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly journal entries.
• Process purchase orders, follow‑up with users, and review system‑generated entries from the procurement system.
• Review the reporting suite and recommend improvements using tools such as PowerBI.
• Review expenses and underwriting results for the assigned region and provide monthly gap analysis.
