My client is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and team leadership.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong technical accounting skills, excellent leadership ability, and a passion for improving financial processes. This role is based in Bruma, Johannesburg East. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the finance team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
Review correction journals, general ledger allocations, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Review and approve monthly VAT reconciliations and VAT returns before submission.
Assist with SARS VAT objections, appeals, and related tax matters.
Ensure intercompany loan accounts reconcile accurately on a monthly basis.
