Position Overview
Summary You will serve as a FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT of NAVWPNSTA. Responsibilities You will develop training and safety programs in accordance with various regulatory agencies (e.g., Department of Defense, Occupational Health and Safety Administration, National Fire Protection Association). You will deliver fire training to inform of daily operations and the use of fire equipment. You will oversee firefighting training areas (e.g., live fire, mobile or fixed training devices inspections, testing, certification and maintenance programs) for an organization. You will verify personnel use the correct personal protection equipment during firefighting incidents to ensure safety.
