Role Summary
The Fire System Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and fire suppression systems within data center facilities. This role ensures all Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems remain fully operational and compliant with applicable codes, standards and requirements. The technician works under the direction of site leadership and coordinates closely with FacOps teams to maintain 24/7/365 critical infrastructure availability.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Programming
● • Install all components of fire alarm systems including control panels, sensors, smoke/heat detectors, VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus), and notification appliances
● • Install and maintain fire suppression systems (pre-action sprinkler, clean agent, dry/wet systems)
