Key Responsibilities

• Assess all aspects of technical underwriting, policy wording review, survey requirement/ risk improvements inclusive of Risk Referrals approval recommendation on all new and renewals for Fire & Miscellaneous class of insurances.
• Assist in providing professional advice, guidance and support to Business Units and Branch personnel in all aspects of Fire & Miscellaneous underwriting management and operations.
• Work closely with Risk Survey Department, Claims Department as well with Business Units to combat adverse trends by evaluating survey reports/ adjuster reports, loss ratio, claims trends. Providing recommendation on risk improvements measures whenever possible.
• Assist in reviewing underwriting guidelines periodically for continuous improvement and adaptation to market changes.
