Summary You will serve as a FIREFIGHTER in the Navy Fire & Emergency Services Department of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA. Responsibilities You will control and extinguish a fire during firefighting operations. You will inspect equipment (e.g., fire extinguisher, sprinkler systems, exits) to verify they are fully operational and meet regulatory requirements. You will decontaminate hazardous material response equipment and supplies (e.g., protective clothing, respiratory devices, chemical mitigation agents) for preventative maintenance.
