Position Summary
The Apprentice Electrician supports Journeyperson Electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems as part of the Voyageur Trades Program. This entry-level role focuses on developing essential electrical competencies through supervised work, in-house training, and community service projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with wiring, conduit installation, fixture mounting, panel work, and troubleshooting basic electrical issues.Support reading and interpreting basic electrical diagrams and code requirements.Participate in in-house electrical fundamentals training through Voyageur Trades.Complete general labour duties including material handling, prep work, cleanup, and tool maintenance.Follow all electrical safety standards and program safety protocols.Contribute labour to community-focused electrical project...
