Our client, Southern Pumping Specialists Pty Ltd, is seeking experienced Fitters to join their workshop team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and maintenance of rotating and mechanical equipment to ensure customer assets are returned to service quickly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps and other rotating mechanical equipment
2. Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs or component replacements as required
3. Use workshop machinery and tools such as lathes, welders, and other equipment to assist with repairs
4. Test repaired equipment to ensure correct performance prior to dispatch
5. Receive and log repairable equipment accurately upon arrival
