Position Summary: The Fleet Technician Assistant is an entry level position that will consist of providing technology support to the Fleet Department. Travel to various field work locations throughout our company will be required.

Essential Functions:

+ Capable of learning Pike’s various electronic operating GPS devices.

+ Able to troubleshoot various GPS devices on company equipment.

+ Able to maintain an organized list of daily repairs and equipment checks.

+ Capable of coordinating with Pike crews the locations and dates necessary to perform repairs.

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License.

+ Drive to and from many Pike field locations safely with company issued vehicle.

Other Requirements:

+ Ability to learn, understand, and troubleshoot vehicle wiring.

+ Must be able to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
