Requirements

• Minimum qualification Grade 10 – 12, Ability to read and write. Good interpersonal relations and communication skills. 1–2 years’ experience in hospital environment will be added advantage, Basic Food Safety and hygiene knowledge. Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure. Prepared to work shifts (weekend and public holiday) be able to rotate when required and work as a reliever in the unit, be physically strong to lift heavy objects.

Duties

• Apply a high standard of hygiene as well as safety measures in work environment. Pre‑prepare both normal and therapeutic diets, cook meals according to the standardized recipes, dish up and serve according to dietary requirements of patients. Participate in all production processes and correlate all duties to give nutritional care to patients.
