Summary: With management oversight, this position supervises the activities of all employees involved in the Patient Services area of the Nutrition and Food Services department at the Medical Center.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for meal distribution to service sites, proper holding and handling of foods to be served, and some food preparation and presentation. Ensures staff are using safe food handling techniques and that diet restrictions are being followed. Monitors and records temperatures and conducts taste testing food items as needed.
2. Responsible for the patient meal tray line process and oversees operation.
