Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, the Forest Planner will work individually and with a team of professionals responsible for all aspects of forest planning.

You Do:

• Develop harvest and road plans considering steep slope topography and incorporating tether harvest systems.
• Align design and layout with the approved FMP and DFO regulations.
• Contract management, contractor supervision, and coordination of road and block layout.
• Consult stakeholders individually with interest groups, as well as through open houses and interaction with the public involvement group.
• Liaise with government officials, prepare & submit digital data to provided standards.
