Howmet Engine Systems has an immediate opening for a Forging Machine Operator (Ring Mill/Press/Heat Treat), to assist in the manufacturing process at our facility in Rochester, NY. Our current need is 12-hour shifts, 5pm-5am.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor forging equipment, including ring mills, hydraulic presses, and expandersLoad and unload furnaces and perform heat treat operations in accordance with process specificationsFollow work instructions, routers, and process control requirements to ensure consistent productionProgram, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to maintain optimal performancePerform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsEnsure compliance with AS9100 and internal quality systemsMonitor critical process variables such as temperature, cycle ...
