Position Overview
Operates and maintains forklift truck to ensure safe and efficient operation. Transports material in between departments. Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers Maintain a steady flow of material through the yard. Oversee the condition of the entire yard, all roads and pipe racks. Communicate and coordinate with previous shift driver and relief driver. Proper and thorough turn-over. Know the Beaumont yard layout. Know proper marking and identification of pipe. Return tools to proper places at the end of each shift. Perform preoperational checks on forklifts and report all service concerns. Know and adhere to proper moving and handling procedures of XL Systems products. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the grounds through regular inspection and maintenance. Ensure company equipment and material is maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
