DISTRIBUTION ENGINEER

FortisOntario is a leading private sector utility in Ontario with approximately 70,000 customers. We are looking for a motivated problem-solver with a positive attitude and a passion for learning and cultivating relationships. The distribution engineer will work from either our Cornwall, Fort Erie, or Sault Ste. Marie offices. Under the supervision of the Director of Engineering, Innovation & Climate Change, this role is responsible for system planning and variance technical studies, fostering harmonious labour relations, providing support to develop and maintain operational and capital budgets, seeking process improvement opportunities, as well as ensuring compliance with Company policies and all applicable legislated codes.
