Working on social housing fire door remedials and fire proofing contract.

Responsibilities

• Installation and Maintenance of Fire Doors — Install and maintain fire doors according to fire safety regulations (e.g., BS 476, BS 9999).
• Ensure correct installation of fire-rated door hardware (locks, hinges, closers).
• Apply intumescent strips and fire seals to doors and frames.
• Remedial and Upgrade Work — Retrofit and upgrade existing fire doors to meet current fire resistance standards.
• Carry out repairs on damaged or non-compliant fire doors.
