The Franchise Head leads the development of the Franchise within SA. The individual will be accountable for setting the vision; defining the Franchise strategy; coordinating the cross-functional TA and brand‑level operational plans; and leading the commercial team to drive optimal outcomes for patients who can benefit from our innovative medicines and to establish AZ as a global leader in Oncology.
Franchise Head is directly accountable for the success of the Marketing and Sales teams within the country. They drive this through competitive performance, astute financial P&L management, cohesive cross‑functional working, reinforcing the AZ values of culture of scientific leadership and patient‑centricity and contributing to AZ’s stated goal of being a “Great Place to Work”.
