General Description : The Adult Education ESL Lead Instructor, under the authority of the Dean of Adult Education is responsible for developing, implementing, instructing, and coordinating English as a Second Language classes and IELCE programs that will result in students achieving academic success. The ESL Lead Instructor/Coordinator’s responsibilities include providing instruction to English language learners, mentoring adjunct instructors, assisting with the development of new program pathways (IELCE) and related courses. This person will also assist with student recruitment, orientation, follow-up, and other duties as needed for the program.
