As a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team, the Mental Health Counsellor provides essential mental health services for children and youth within First Nations contexts. You will work closely with community members in Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Takla Landing, or Burns Lake, delivering culturally-centered support. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a commitment to community health services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mental health assessments and interventions for youth
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Engage with the community to foster trust and understanding
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
