Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care
Provide direct patient care under the direction of the RN, including activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulating, turning, repositioning, and transporting patients.Perform point‑of‑care testing and nursing assistant core responsibilities, including blood glucose monitoring, vital signs, weights, intake & output, telemetry application/reapplication, Foley care, urine specimen collection, and restraint application/removal per policy.Support Hospital‑Acquired Condition (HAC) and patient safety indicator prevention.Assist with intra‑hospital transportation (“Ticket to Ride”).Provide one‑to‑one patient companionship and supervision as required.Offer diversional activities to reduce or prevent restraint use.Respond...
