Shenandoah University’s Child Care Center is accepting applications for a Substitute. This is a full-time benefited position located in Winchester, Virginia.



Job Description:


+ Assist teacher in daily activities

+ Maintain frequent communications with parents about their child’s day

+ Learn and Implement all center policies and state regulations

+ Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and

+ Cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.

+ Feed, Diaper and potty-train children

+ Clean and sanitize classroom, toys and tables

+ Interact with children throughout the day

+ Other Duties as assigned by Director/Assistant Director

Required Skills

+ Be at least 18 years of age.

+ Have High School Diploma.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
