Your role at St John of God Richmond

We are seeking to recruit a Gardener to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at Richmond, on a permanent full-time basis.

In this role, you will ensure a safe, comfortable and attractive environment of the grounds within complex and to assist maintenance and engineering services in maintaining the complex to a safe standard.

The Position

• Maintain the gardens and grounds to a safe, environmentally friendly and attractive standard.

• Report any malfunctions or safety issues with machinery or tools.

• Assist in servicing and maintaining garden machinery and equipment in a safe manner, to ensure equipment is complaint and in good working order.

• Ensure security of machinery and tools.

• Ensure chemicals and garden supplies are stored in accordance with work cover requirements.
