Project Description Working on ROCgdb, ROCm's open source GDB-based debugger for heterogeneous computing (CPU and GPU), targeting multiple offloading/compute/graphics languages and frameworks. Linux tools and driver libraries development.
Responsibilities - Research and implement state-of-the-art software algorithms in heterogeneous debugging support domain to improve user debugging capabilities and experience.
- Work closely with AMD software and hardware engineering teams to remain knowledgeable of current trends and future features; provide suggestions for feature and fixes in released and unreleased products.
- Advise technical directions for GPU debugging support effort across components and domains.
- Communicate across AMD teams to identify opportunities and facilitate feedback between groups.
