General Hand/Stores Driver

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Stores Truck Driver to support kitchen and store operations, help manage deliveries, and contribute to the daily rhythm of life at Walter Peak. In this role, you’ll safely transport produce and prepared food between kitchen, vessels, and storage areas, accurately checking deliveries and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Delivering food and freight around the Walter Peak property, ensuring goods are accurately checked, recorded, and stored
• Loading and unloading vessels and vehicles, including catching lines for the TSS Earnslaw on arrival and assisting departures
• Managing stores rooms: stock rotation, daily stocktakes, temperature checks, and safe food handling standards
• Keeping the loading bay, wharves, and surrounding areas clean and tidy
• Assisting the Rural team with firewood collection and stacking wood/charcoal for BBQ service...
