Job Description

A community based general internal medicine specialist providing comprehensive consultant in-patient and out-patient services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Daily rounds on patients, including facilitation of timely discharge.
• Availability to participate in hospital committees pertaining to specialty.
• Participation in teaching rounds as available.

Office

Must maintain community office practice.

On-Call

• On-call responsibilities include 1 in 9 for Internal Medicine.
• Timely response to request for consultations in the ER and inpatient units.

Resources

• Available outpatient clinics includes: Diabetes Clinic, Heart Function Program, and Stress Testing.
• ECG and Holter Monitoring are shared amongst the group.
