Job Summary

The Department of Medicine at Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is recruiting two full-time General Internal Medicine (GIM) specialists for a predominantly inpatient practice covering the ICU, cardiac telemetry, and medical ward. PAH is a busy and rapidly growing community hospital in White Rock, British Columbia. The site is undergoing significant expansion, with a new ER and OR recently completed and a state-of-the-art ICU and telemetry unit currently under construction.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will join a collaborative GIM group practice. Responsibilities include hospital consultations (across most subspecialties), ICU, and telemetry coverage. The ICU has seven beds and supports up to two ventilated patients. Physicians rotate every six weeks to cover daytime service from 0800 to 1700, Monday to Sunday.
