- Oversee and manage the general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with accounting principles and internal policies.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update internal controls and procedures related to the general ledger.
- **Tax Compliance & Reporting**:
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns (e.g., VAT, sales tax, corporate tax) in compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
