Introduction: Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this direct full-time General Machinist II position. This role is going to be onsite in Middletown, CT. Machinist II Responsibilities: -Perform simple machining operations, under close and exacting tolerances, using blueprints, schematics, written/verbal instructions, shop policies and quality standards. -Operate CNC machines to perform a simple series of machining operations on a diversified line of work. -Per instruction from group leader, adjust machine calibrations, console settings, feed, and tooling operation sequences.-Ability to understand rudimentary program formats to make minor adjustments to offsets and tooling.-Per instruction from group leader, make minor modifications to pre-programmed computer routines.-Set up, adjust, and operate various types of manual machining equipment such as, millers, lathes, drill presses and hand screw machines to perform simple and non-complex machining operati...
