Job Summary

• Lead daily operations and long‑term development of the UPM Specialty Materials Jämsänkoski mill, overseeing about 300 employees and roughly 450 people on site.
• Implement UPM strategy and drive safety, environmental, quality, productivity and cost performance while ensuring permits, legal requirements and compliance.
• Evaluate and propose investments and development options to enhance the mill’s competitiveness and act as the company representative to external stakeholders.
• The role requires a university degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, communication and safety commitment, and is based in Jämsä reporting to the VP, Operations.
