Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
* Permanent Medicine Registrar position starting 3 August 2026 or as soon as possible. * Allocation to General Medicine training or General Medicine non-training role at Wairarapa Hospital in Masterton.

This is an 6-month RACP-accredited training position however we are open to consider a doctor who could work in this position for an entire year (2x 6-month postings) or non-trainees. You
will be the General Medical Registrar with a small team of consultant
physicians and prevocational doctors and have a great opportunity to lead and
learn. As the lone registrar you will have direct contact with the SMO
physician team and other teams providing a wide scope of hands on learning.

There is subsidised shared Registrar accommodation if you wish (free-ish if you have a mortgage or rent to cover elsewhere in New Zealand!).
