Job summaryThe post-holder will provide GP out of hours general medical services in the out of hours period and deal with a wide range of health needs in the urgent care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all service users.
Main duties of the job- Manage the medical requirements of patients who contact the service.
- Assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for the population of West Cheshire in the out of hours period.
- In accordance with the service rota as agreed, the post-holder will undertake clinical sessions at all bases including face-to-face appointments, telephone advice and visiting patients at home. Required shifts include evenings, weekends, night shifts and bank holidays. A minimum of working two weekends per month and 4 of the 8 bank holidays will be included in the rota. These duties should be performed in a timely manner using agreed protocols.
