The General Supervisor, Pipe is responsible for leading their team of tradespeople by coordinating and overseeing completion of trade activities within the Shipyard.The General Supervisor, Pipe will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely and in compliance with all regulations and company standards.
The position reports directly to an Area Manager and requires significant interaction with Trade Management.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver, . V7P 2R1
What you’ll do
Assumes accountability for safety, cost, schedule and quality performance in area of responsibility.
Implements and enforces Seaspan's health, safety, environmental and quality processes on the shop floor and strives to eliminate safety hazards at every opportunity.
