Role: Temporary and Permanent Works design of structures such as:

• Sheet piles, cantilever and tie-back design
• Reinforced Soil wall structures
• RC and mass concrete retaining walls
• Underwater structures, i.e. quay walls, revetments, pipe-anchors, etc.
• Fendering/berthing piles
• Groundwater control/dewatering

Prepare, present and defend geotechnical and structural designs in front of consultants and local authorities.

Gather design data from site, prepare survey briefs for testing company, interrogate and assimilate SI report data, translate test data to design input.

Ability to identify ‘Funny-values’ and prepare professional interpretative reports of technical survey and design data.

Manage on-site installations and take immediate action to address and resolve site unexpected findings, followed by post-installation design validation.
