Applications are now open for our 2026/27 Geotechnical Engineering Summer Internship Programme.

If you're fascinated by soil, rock, earthworks, foundations, slope stability, or understanding how the ground influences engineering design, this internship is for you.

As a Geotechnical Engineering Intern at Tonkin + Taylor (T+T), you'll work alongside some of New Zealand's leading geotechnical specialists, gaining hands‑on experience across a wide variety of projects. From site investigations and fieldwork to geotechnical assessments and design support, you'll have the opportunity to apply your academic learning to live engineering challenges.
