As the GIS Lead at Aecon Civil, you will steer geospatial delivery for pivotal infrastructure projects across North America. This role involves integrating advanced GIS solutions and providing expert guidance.
You will report to the IDD Manager and take charge of overseeing GIS operations during project development and construction. Key responsibilities also include establishing GIS standards, conducting data integrations, and supporting project teams with exceptional geospatial insights and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the geospatial delivery during construction and project phases
• Act as the key GIS technical advisor for project teams
• Design data integrations across CAD/BIM and GIS platforms
• Set GIS standards and ensure compliance with best practices
• Streamline workflows through advanced automation techniques
Requirements:
• 8+ years of geospatial experience in construction contexts
• Proficient with the Esri stack, including ArcGIS tools
