Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluation of substances and formulations based on available scientific data according to EU CLP regulation and similar regulations worldwide. Preparation of safety data sheets (SDS) and classification proposals for single substances as well as for final products according to EU CLP and GHS standard. Monitoring upcoming developments under the EU Chemical Strategy for Sustainability in the area of hazard communication/classification & labelling and leading cross-functional implementation projects. Quality control of SDS and other relevant data (internally & externally). Support in the global rollout of the SDS software and in maintaining the database.
