Overview

The Financial Analyst will support the business unit with various levels of periodic reporting and analysis including expense analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, invoices submission, monthly close processes, and other ad hoc tasks. The analyst will work closely with partners based in Manila and other locations, particularly Chicago, to ensure the financial goals of the business unit and Northern Trust are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly/quarterly reporting processes such as forecasting, P&L variance analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations to management.
• Assist in annual planning, supporting the business unit for the preparation, timeliness, and integrity of the annual budget and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
• Submit invoices, process cost chargebacks, and assist in the month‑end close process including reclassifications and adjustment entries.
