Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Within the legal team, lead global debt recovery and invoice collection efforts for World Fuel’s Land, Marine and Aviation business groups
  • Be the primary liaison between the Legal team, commercial Sales team and global Credit and Exposure Control teams
  • Develop and execute practical, commercially grounded and cost-effective strategies to quickly and efficiently maximise recoveries
  • Take ownership of contentious matters from escalation to resolution, with a strong focus on speed and cost-effective results
  • Assess and manage jurisdictional challenges, insolvency exposure, enforcement options, and recovery viability
  • Develop efficient, centralised matter tracking and reporting methods, to align with regular financial reporting requirements
  • Build and continually refine repeatable collections and litigation playbooks, templates, and escalation frameworks
