**What's the Job?**

+ Utilize large swing grinders and small hand grinders to condition parts for defect removal
+ Examine and feel surfaces of workpieces for defects
+ Remove defects and sharp edges to ensure quality standards
+ Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, or disks based on specifications and metal condition
+ Polish ground areas with finer abrasives to produce smooth, unmarred surfaces

**What's Needed?**

+ High school diploma or equivalent and six to twelve months related experience and/or training
