Will have standard horticultural and grounds keeping practices and knowledge. The use and maintenance of grounds keeping tools and equipment will be required. Coordinates assigned staff and performs a full range of grounds maintenance, gardening duties, assists in relatedvarious construction andlandscapingprojectsbysupervisingandassistingthegroundsstaff.Thispositionisalsoresponsible for the ECU Events crew and crew leader.

• At the direction of the Assistant Director of Physical Plant, oversees the groundskeepers in the maintenance and care for school grounds.
• Supervises and directs the Grounds employees in daily grounds maintenance and event duties.
• Maintains and cares for university grounds by supervising the mowing of university grounds with hand and power mowers, pruning trees and trimming hedges to promote growth and improve appearance.
